Inspiration

Sheikh Al Faransi is regarded by many as the jewel of our house, a sumptuous creation that embodies the luxury and tradition of Middle Eastern perfumery. Balanced around precious oud Cambodi and authentic ambergris, it is powerful yet never aggressive, with a robust, complex character and a pronounced sillage.

The name means “The French Sheikh” in Arabic, with “Sheikh” serving as an honorific for royalty and “Al Faransi” as the signature of our perfumer.

The fragrance opens with honey from Kashmir and Centifolia rose from Grasse, enriched by a hint of saffron, warm ambergris, and dark chocolate. It rests on a base of oriental amber, Indonesian sandalwood, and rare Cambodian oud, creating a scent of elegance and distinction.
